Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the US for over 40 years. Her most well-known role is for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared for her first stage appearance. After that, she acted on Broadway in various shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner made it big in the National Theatre. The same year, She released Her first album of songs, called It's the Time for Tina. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise was awarded her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's student. The next role she starred in was from 1964, when she was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully play between Broadway and Hollywood acting as a sombre character opposed her perceived image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as well as Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's gained recognition as a producer on a variety of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Her family moved out of Essex to Toronto and she lived there for growing up and in adolescence. When she was chosen to play the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and was there ever from then on.
